Tea Time...

Here's something I could get used to... Now there's a chance I've been subconsciously placing myself in situations where tea is served on a regular basis, but man—my daily tea intake is off the charts over here in Bhutan... I was no doubt a coffee person before arriving in this country, but it didn't take long to make the transition to tea—it's a far more common drink here, it tastes great, there's so many different flavors to discover, and this 'Tea Time'—a little break from the day to drink some tea and relax... I love it! You can talk to friends, meet new friends, think by yourself, read, listen to music, write a blog (yes it's Tea Time for me right now)... It seems as if it is always Tea Time in Bhutan. There is a designated Tea Time from 330 – 5 every afternoon at the college, and tea is served at pretty much any event or gathering you attend—it's everywhere, and I fully support it. I'm now a fan—of tea, Tea Time, the whole phenomenon. I've been converted from the Dunkin Donuts drive thru; I've seen the light!

  1. Damn, Billy. I've only been to a hand full of tea times, but now I'm thinking about checking it out more often...
